About Fenrir Security
We're the New Zealand cyber security team that runs your security, not just advises on it.
Our story
Fenrir Security was founded in 2024 by Scott Parker and Josh Ellis with one aim: to challenge the status quo of cyber security in New Zealand. Between them they had spent years inside engineering and security teams, and kept seeing the same gap. Too much of the market treated managed security as a ticketing exercise, reacting to alerts and moving on, rather than engineering protection that genuinely reduced risk.
So they built something different. From the first vCISO engagement through to enterprise-grade managed detection and response, Fenrir has grown by treating cyber security as an engineering discipline. We design, standardise and automate our services to a high technical bar before we scale them, so quality and reliability hold as we grow. We choose depth of capability over breadth, and we take on only what we can confidently operate and sustain.
We are New Zealand owned and operated, so decisions are made locally and we stay directly accountable for what we deliver. We measure success by your security outcomes, not by activity or hours billed. That is what we mean by clear, well-engineered, trusted cyber security.
