Work with us
Fenrir is a specialist, principal-led security team based in Christchurch. We deliver managed detection and response, security consulting, assessments, and security engineering to organisations throughout New Zealand. We hire selectively, prioritising depth of expertise over headcount.
Current vacancies
We do not have any open roles at the moment.
That said, we are always interested in hearing from strong people in managed detection and response, detection engineering, and security consulting. If that is you, we would rather know about you early than miss you when a role does open.
Register your interest
If you would like to be considered for future roles, get in touch through our contact form or email [email protected] with a short note on your background and what you are looking for. We read everything that comes in and keep promising people in mind. If there's a fit, we'd love to hear from you.
Recruitment fraud notice
Recruitment scams that impersonate cyber security organisations are a known problem across the industry. As a precaution, please read this before responding to any recruitment approach made in our name.
Fenrir will only ever contact candidates from an official @fenrir.nz email address. We do not recruit through personal email accounts such as Gmail, nor through messaging apps or social media direct messages.
Fenrir never charges candidates for anything. We will never ask you to pay for a role, an assessment, a background check, training, or any document or service as part of applying with us. Any approach that does this is not from Fenrir.
How to verify an approach. If someone contacts you claiming to recruit for Fenrir and you are not sure it is genuine, you can confirm it directly by emailing [email protected]. We are always happy to verify whether an approach is legitimate.
If you think you have been targeted. If an approach does not match the above, please do not send money, identification, or bank details. You can report it to the NCSC at ncsc.govt.nz/report and to Netsafe, and we would appreciate you letting us know at [email protected] so we can act on it.
